Hi all,

I’m down to run the Saturday paddle this Saturday, 14 May. At the moment the weather forecast is looking rather pleasant, so fingers crossed that they’ve got it right. Ready to be on the water at 10:00 at Mount Batten please.

All the club sea kayaks have been reserved for Terry’s sea kayak intro session, so these won’t be available for us to use. I’m going to take my small boat and I may even indulge in a bit of rolling practice at the end, a bit of company is always welcome.

I will post again on Friday evening just to confirm but I would be very surprised if anything changes.

Hi all,

Well, I said I’d be surprised in anything changes so I have to report that I find myself a little surprised because something has changed. The forecast is so good that I’m going to invite our canoeists, incorrectly known as open boaters, to join us on the understanding that I hold no canoeing qualification and can only provide safety cover.
