Sat 5th Dec Rec paddle 10am

I’m running this Saturday’s Rec paddle (as poor Brim has to work). The paddle is on the water at 10am. Please put your name down on the forum if you wish to come along. We are back to the rule of 6, so it will be me and 5 others.

Birgit has already let me know that she would like to join me.

Joy have you heard anything about Mount Batten opening and the courtyard being open. There are no updates on their website?

I have just rung MB and the centre will have the gates open from 9am on Saturday.

How are you?

Depending which weather forecast you look at, there may be wind speeds up to 32 mph tomorrow, so I just wanted to check if the Sat Rec is going ahead?

I’ve only paddled once since October, so I’m a bit rusty! Thanks.

The Saturday paddle will be going ahead. All being well, We can hide away from the worst of the wind. The tide is going out, so we can get close to the coast line.

We can just enjoy being back on the water, it doesn’t have to be an epic distance. Will be nice to meet up with people on the water again.

It will be cold, so dress up warm and bring extra clothing to put on at lunchtime.
