Plymouth City Council Announcement
Plymouth Armed Forces Day is taking place on 29 June and will include flying displays from 17-18.00hrs. In order to ensure the safety of the public during the displays there will be restrictions on movements of vessels in Plymouth Sound.
The display area will be over Plymouth Sound south of the Hoe out to the breakwater. During the displays, vessels will need to be clear of Plymouth Sound. Access to and from the Sound, the Cattewater and King Point/Millbay will be prohibited.
The timings for this are:
Saturday 29 June from 16.45hrs -18.00hrs
Please follow instructions from the event marshalling craft.
QHM Plymouth will issue a Local Notice to Mariners with full details of the restrictions on 26 June in advance of the event.
A large display area is required this year due to the participation of the Red Arrows Display Team.
Plymouth City Council apologise for any inconvenience caused.
