The AVCC River Axe Race will be on Sunday 15th March 2020 and bookings are now OPEN.
The annual River Axe Race will be held on Sunday 15th March 2020 and is suitable for all paddlers of all ages to have a go (11-70). The race is on G1 moving water so some experience of this type of flow is needed. Organised by the Axe Vale Canoe Club, we typically have 100 boats on the river in about 12 classes depending on the type of boat being used (both kayak and canoe and Sit-on, SUP, etc.).
We would particularly like to encourage you all to have a go in whatever boat you feel like (from canoe to K1/K2 to sea kayak to slalom kayak to Sit-on & SUP).
