The Recreational paddle on Saturday 16th February is ON.

The forecast is for no rain, temps of 11 degrees and southerly wind up to F3.

The paddle will be from Mount Batten, 10am as usual on the water.

As many of us haven’t been on the water for a while and there are at least two birthdays to celebrate; I’m hoping for a good crowd. I know one of the birthday girls will be on the water!

Remember it is still winter, so wear appropriate clothing and bring your own safety gear. You never know if you will be nearest to someone who capsized, so if you have a tow rope, please bring it. I’m sure some of our members who go for a swim, do so to give us valuable rescue practise!

Hot drink and pack lunch is also required.

    See you soon.

    Joy

Hello Joy, I plan to join you all on Saturday.

I’m hoping to start getting my own equipment soon and if anybody is upgrading / selling items suitable for a novice, please let me know. Yellow is my colour of preference! Thank you.

    Regards,
    Debbie
