    Hi all,

I have the pleasure of running the rec paddle this Saturday, 27 April.

If you have looked at the weather forecast you will have noticed that they are expecting force 5 – 6 WNW winds. If you haven’t looked at the weather forecast let me tell you that they are expecting force 5 – 6 WNW wind.

Some of you will be thinking, “Hmm, I’ve got better things to do, I may stay in and wash my hair.” Others may well be thinking, “Yahoo, bring it on.”

If you are of the yahoo persuasion let me tell you that I intend to run this trip as normal, on the water at Mount Batten at 10:00, bring all the usual safety gear. We will definitely do something but if it’s really horrid I do reserve the right to make it a bit short.

If you are in doubt about what to do look out of the window on Saturday morning and decide for yourselves and don’t worry, if you turn up and I don’t think this trip is for you I won’t be afraid to tell you.

Looking forward to some jolly salty fun.

    Clive A.

It was a bit salty, it was very wild and it was tremendous fun. Thanks to my paddling partners for your company.
