    Hi all,

I’m running the rec paddle this Saturday, 23 October. I’m standing in for Joy who apparently has found something more interesting to do, as if there is such a thing.

The weather for Saturday is predicted to be breezy, quite possibly damp and a bit cool. All this coupled with a low tide just after 2pm leaves us with limited options however, unless the forecast deteriorates over the next few days, we will go out to play but may not stay out too long.

Have a look at the forecast and decide for yourself if the conditions are likely to either fill you with eager anticipation, or fill you with dread, then act accordingly. Meet at Mount Batten ready to be on the water at 10:00 with all the usual safety equipment and lunch.

I will keep an eye on the forecast and post again on Friday evening with a final decision.

    Hi all,

Well, the forecast seems to be cloudy and cool but dry, with a force 4 S wind. Autumn it is then. We’ll go ahead tomorrow, see you at Mount Batten.
