Alongside the sterling work being done by Adam trying to interpret how PPCA can continue to operate within the new 2027 PUK rules ( Standards for Deployment ), PUK have also confirmed that in support of these new rules our members details need to be held in their system. ( I have been previously advised that keeping our own stand-alone records was sufficient ).
As a consequence, over the next few days many members will receive a ‘confirmation’ e-mail from PUK explaining that they are either being ‘added’ or ‘linked’ to our club section on the PUK system.
In anticipation of this move, approx 18 mths ago I added “Paddle UK – data upload consent” as a mandatory check box onto our Membership Application and Renewal forms on the website, so every member has already given their consent and now is the time that I need to enact the upload.
Minimum details to be ‘added’ if no existing PUK record are first and last name, e-mail address, date of birth, username ( which I’m defaulting to your e-mail address ), gender ( which I’m defaulting to ‘Prefer not to say’ ), home address ( at least 1 line ), and postcode.
