Dear Sir/Madam,

Explora has a unique range of sea kayaking activities for 2016 and I would be very grateful if you could communicate to your members the information below.

In April and May we are working with Howard Jeffs who is a level 5 sea coach. We are running introduction courses to surf and tide races. The courses are great for those just getting started on those environments as well as those wishing to improve their level and confidence in rough water.

In June and September we have kayaking expeditions for beginners and intermediates to the Ionian islands in Greece. We will be paddling for 6 days visiting beautiful beaches, sea caves, tiny blue bays and local villages and tavernas. Most evenings we will wild camp in beaches or olive groves.

In September we have our flagship Traditional Kayak Building Workshop. Kiliii Fish comes from the Northwest of the US to teach how to use traditional techniques to build an ultra-light kayak. Each participants builds their own boat and Greenland paddle. This year, we will also have Greenland sessions delivered by master Greenland paddler Eiichi Ito followed by a mini two-day expedition to try the new kayaks. In October we will go to a Greek island and spend a week perfecting our Greenland skills with a dedicated coach in the warm seas. This week is designed for those looking to develop and improve their roll and hone in their forward paddling technique in all types of conditions.
