Xmas paddle Saturday 18th Dec

The Xmas rec paddle will be from Mount Batten on the water for 10:00. Although its been a few years since we have managed to have a Xmas paddle the normal attire is some form of festive decoration of yourself and your kayak if you wish.
Due to the current COVID situation I have decided not to have a communal buffet, for obvious reasons. Please bring your own lunch and drink as usual for a rec paddle.
Hopefully the weather will be favourable, the long range forecast is for a grey cloudy day. I will post on Friday evening confirming the paddle is taking place.
Please bring any safety kit you have the usual things, tow line, survival bag, spare clothing, VHF radio, first aid kit etc.
Looking forward to seeing all of those happy smiling festive PPCA faces on Saturday.
Please post if you are thinking of coming along so I can get an idea of numbers.

The weather has firmed up for Saturday and is for some sunshine and a stiff easterly breeze. We will hopefully have a sheltered paddle for most of the time. It’s going to be chilly so wrap up well.
