WW Trip Sunday 27th Nov.

Given the amount of rain we have had in the last few days and the forecast until Sunday, the rivers will be up. We won’t know whether the trip is possible/sensible until near the time – possibly not until Sunday morning.

I am planning on running the Tavy from Tavistock to Denham as an intermediate level trip – experience on paddling white water is necessary.

I will need to know, before Sunday which club members plan to attend. Please let me have your names before then.

I’ve not done the Tavy except below the Walkham confluence so I’d be interested in coming along.

Lots of rain forecast today! I expect the Tavy to peak high around midnight and come down to a more reasonable level for tomorrow.
The plan is to meet at Woolwell, just off the roundabout leading into Tescos, towards Lidl in Towerfield Drive PL6 7FG. We can shuffle boats around to leave at 09:00. If coming to Woolwell is not sensible/suitable for you, then please meet us at Denham Bridge around 09:15.
