ParticipantHi paddlers.
Less rain this week, so the rivers will mellow out for our trip. I am planning on running trip(s) on the Dart, either the Lower or Middle (The Loop) – or both even! Please let me know your choice.
If you are coming along please meet at the Plympton Car Park near to the Coop end of the Ridgeway at 0845 hrs ready to move off at 0900 hrs. Because of the restricted car parking spaces at the other end we try to car share. If you live nearer the river end please meet in the far end of the car park of the Salmons Leap Cafe at 0930 hrs which is just to the left of the turning off the A38 Buckfast turn off.
If it is your intention to join us would you please indicate here or (if you can’t, text me on 07966740025).
It is getting chilly on the water, so please wear an extra layer if you can, and, please bring a survival bag along with you on all trips – you never know when we might need it!
I will update this entry on Saturday on or before 1800 hrs.
See you on Sunday ?

ParticipantHi Everyone, This is my final update.
Nice and sunny today, and maybe tomorrow too!
Tomorrow’s trip on the Loop (Middle Dart). The level will be low/pleasant, and open to most of you. If you are not sure, contact me.If you are coming along please meet at the Plympton Car Park near to the Coop end of the Ridgeway at 0845 hrs ready to move off at 0900 hrs. Because of the restricted car parking spaces at the other end we try to car share. If you live nearer the river end please meet at the lay-by adjacent to Holne Weir at 9:30.
Anyone else coming?
Doug
07966740025PS. As coaches we try to accommodate the needs of all of our whitewater paddlers beginners & intermediates, despite the effects of water levels – too high & too low – and the availability of coaches & individuals to attend trips. The final decision as to whether a trip is beginners or intermediate is made on the few days before the trip, so please keep on eye on this forum for all the trips (if in doubt, ask). (If numbers are sufficient, we will run both beginners and intermediates on the same day!) This approach keeps is flexible and (hopefully) able to best support you. Doug
