ModeratorWell after quite a low level of water last weekend in the rivers hopefully with the rain forecast for the next couple of days this should improve for Sunday but I have been known to be wrong, at times. Anyway we will be paddling the Loop so if you intend to come along please acknowledge by a short note on here. In the meantime we will meet as normal at the B&Q car park at Marsh Mills ready to LEAVE at 0900 hrs. If you live nearer to the Dart than B&Q then meet us at Holne Weir Layby for 0930 hrs. This is an intermediate paddle so if you are are not sure whether this will be suitable for you either give me a ring or if you are fairly new to white water paddling and have attended a couple of beginners trips and you feel you are fairly competent come and have a go and see how you get on. There are only a few trips left for this season so make the most of these opportunities. For those thinking about the 3 Star assessment this will take place on Sunday 8th March which is only 2 weeks away. ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐
I will update this notice on Saturday in the meantime have a good week.

ParticipantHi Ken, I don’t know if you’ve heard but about a third of the car park at Newbridge is closed off due to the uneven surface. Apparently a walker has fallen and is trying to sue. ๐ Also there are double yellows on the road outside the car park. With what I’ve read online it looks like it’s going to be a busy weekend. We should be okay if we can keep the cars to a minimum. ๐

ModeratorJust to say that the level is low at the moment with a little rain to come during the day and hopefully this will maintain the level as it is for tomorrow at the very least. Keep your fingers crossed!! So it is on whatever and please meet as arranged. Thanks for the info Mark and as you say we will try and reduce the vehicles as much as we can. ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐
