ModeratorClive is away this weekend and has asked me to run the trip on Sunday you lucky people!! So any queries please direct them my way please. We will hope to be doing the lower Dart from Holne weir to Buckfast bridge panning to be there by about 1300hrs give or take a half hour. Please meet at the B&Q carpark at Marsh Mills ready to leave at 0900hrs on Sunday. If you need a lift please make arrangements to get there and hopefully we will be able to mange from there. If you have to collect kit from the Club shed make sure this is done before Sunday as we will not be going anywhere near there that morning. See the entry from Alan Ede re borrowing Club Kit on the PPCA Chat Section for times and dates to be able to collect any items ๐ ๐
As you may have noticed it has got a little bit colder this week and will continue to do so through the winter so make sure you have adeqate clothing to keep you warm. We will stop for a short while about half way down for a quick bite and drink if you so desire so bring this with you if you feel you need it. Beginners please remember to bring a helmet along with the rest of your kit. It is looking much more promissing this week with the river levels but strange things do happen with the UK weather so I will update this entry on Saturday evening after about 1800hrs ( Will be at Rugby until then)
Those or you that live nearer the Dart than Marsh Mills we will meet you up in the layby at Holne Weir at 0930hrs but could you please leave a message on here if you are doing this so that we can have a rough idea as to how many helpers we may have in ratio to the number of beginners.
Have a good week and hope to see some old faces along with some new ones on Sunday. ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐

ModeratorWell as you might have guessed with such an early message that the levels in the Dart are cronic and therfore I am calling the trip off for tomorrow. I am so sorry but Clive and I paddled the Loop on Thursday and it was extremely low then and the forecast for the rest of today and tonight is very light showers if any and from yesterdays level which was about .59 at Austin bridge it has dropped to .43 today which may make some sense with some of you. I told you to keep your fingers crossed but obviously somebody has been a bit lax. ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐
Yes there may have been the alternative of using the Tamar but the fishing season does not finish on there until the 15 October so that is out until then.
Doom and Gloom im afraid but hope to see you all on Monday evening and maybe we can have a chat about this then. ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐
