Hi Folks, Sorry it is a bit late in letting you know what is happening this weekend but have been away and only got back in the early hours of this morning. Having said that it is looking even more likely that this weekends paddle will NOT be on unless something drastic happens over the next 24 hours which according to the current weather forecast is not looking too likely. However should a miracle occur please meet at the B&Q Car Park next to Marsh Mills roundabout ready to move off at 0900hrs. We will arrange lifts from there but it is your responsibility to arrange to get there. For the new paddlers to river paddling you will need a helmet along with the rest of your equipment. In addition we will stop for a short while along our way for a break so bring something to eat and drink if you wish and lastly it is very probable that in the first few weeks on the rivers for you will by quite wet ones so be prepared. Make sure you have something warm at the end of your paddle in the way of clothing and drinks even as in my case a hot water bottle sometimes!! ๐Ÿ™„ ๐Ÿ™„ ๐Ÿ™„ ๐Ÿ™„ ๐Ÿ™„ ๐Ÿ™„ ๐Ÿ™„ ๐Ÿ™„ ๐Ÿ™„ ๐Ÿ™„ ๐Ÿ™„ ๐Ÿ™„ ๐Ÿ™„ ๐Ÿ™„ ๐Ÿ™„ ๐Ÿ™„
I will update this message tomorrow evening one way or the other
Get your mats out and start praying please!!

Well looking at the overwhelming response for this trip I guess most of you have realised that last nights rain was not enough I am afraid and as a result of which tomorrows trip is cancelled.
All we can do now is keep our fingers crossed that we do get some rain in the coming week for next weekend. See you then hopefully
