ParticipantHi all
I am leading the white water river trip this Sunday, 15 February.
As you know we are still in the grip of a mid winter drought but there is rain forecast for the end of the week. From experience how much rain will actually fall in a bit unpredictable in these circumstances so I am going to leave it until Friday or even Saturday before to decide where to go.
This is advertised as an intermediate trip, so if there is sufficient rain thatβs what we will do. (Probably the Loop). However if circumstance dictate this may become a beginners trip.
Sorry to be a bit vague.
Whatever happens we will leave B&Q at 09:00
If you want to contact me either 01752 344425 or cliveandjoy01@gmail.com

ParticipantIβm going to make the assumption that there will be enough water to run the Loop on Sunday, so meet at B&Q ready to leave at 09:00 or meet at the lay by adjacent to Holne Weir at 09:30.
Looking at the forecast the river level is still likely to be low. If this is the case then any club beginners will be welcome to come along and provide us with some entertainment, but I will confirm that tomorrow (Saturday) evening.
As usual can I ask that you post here or contact me if you are intending to come along.
See you on Sunday.

ParticipantWell boys and girls, the level was just below the ledge this morning and dropping. With no rain forecast for the rest of the day I can confirm that this trip is also open to our beginners, but not to people that have no white water experience at all.
As a special treat I will bring along some copies of my really rather excellent little book that I am inviting you to purchase for the princely sum of Β£5.
Bet you canβt wait.

KeymasterHi Clive,
I have a little bit of an issue with my back at the mo so will give the white stuff a miss tomorrow. If it improves by tomorrow I’ll let you know and can drive but might go for something more gentle if I can. Have fun folks
Cheers
