    Hi everyone.

I’m sure we have all noticed that summer is starting to fade – Boo! But what we now get to look forward to is the river season – YAY!

The first trip will take place next Sunday! As with everything this year things will be a little different.
For most of you, you will know that these trips are historically organised on the forum and this will remain the case (for those who didn’t know).

As with the other sessions this year there is a maximum of 5 members to one leader. Once again our fantastic coaches and leaders have agreed to have two available for the Sunday trips, allowing us to run two groups.
On the calendar the coach named first will be advertising the trip and under this thread please register your interest for the trip. Members will then be divided between the coaches and trip details finalised.

For those who are new members if you do not have your own kit the club can long term loan you one in return for a small donation to the club (please speak the Pete Anderson the equipment officer for details). It will be up to you to store and transport the boat and equipment to/from and between trips. The meeting points will be given in on the forum for that trip.

Please note that due to the nature of river trips car sharing is required when running shuttles.
Please make sure you have a facemask available at the top and bottom, and that it is worn when travelling with others. It is also advised that you bring hand sanitiser with you and use this at regular intervals.

We will also be moving away from the website booking system from and including Saturday the 10th of October. Instead of booking on the website the individual Saturday leaders will be posting trips onto the forum. Please book on there for those trips (before 7pm on Friday)
Please note that although trips may be advertised on FB the booking will take place on the forum.

    Happy paddling!
