Tuesday 21st May ‘Towing for Beginners’ @ 18:00
This session will be in a mix of kayaks, GP kayaks, Tourers and Sea Kayaks. If you have never tried towing or had any instruction in how to use your own or a club tow line then this session is ideal for you. Or if you just want to brush up the skills you already have.
Covering different types of towing systems and contact tows with lots of practical scenarios during the session.
This is an essential skill to have when paddling as part of a group and contributing to rescue situations.
Please post if you would like to join the session. Or have any questions or just turn up on Tuesday evening. Club kayaks and equipment are available to use. If you have your own tow line please bring it along.
There will be several other different club sessions also going on this coming Tuesday. Sea kayak safety course, Explore group and a Rec paddle.
