I am due to lead the rec paddle this evening i.e. Tuesday 11th April. I regret that the weather conditions are beyond remit and I am therefore cancelling tonight’s paddle. The wind is expected to be 23 gusting to 42 knots with an increasing swell to match. I see that the inshore forecast is predicting a high sea in the west of the sea area tomorrow which is not something that we see very often. That is a swell of 6 – 9 meters. Not for sea kayakers!
