Just wanted to say a huge massive “Thank you” to all club members who assisted with today’s Open Day. Without doubt a great success, to early to compile all the statistics but lots of interest shown in the courses on offer and the club itself. People were amazed with what was on offer for so little money, one woman nearly fainted when it was pointed out what was available for her boy for only £2.50 a month! (Youth membership is only £30 a year). His dad was flabergasted with the choice of boats, courses and activities he could enjoy for only £5 a month! (£59 adult membership). So thank you to all who turned up throughout the day to lend a hand.
Please don’t forget our second ‘Open Day’ event next week, Sat 26th May, again at Mount Batten (MB). 0930 hrs to 3pm’ish. This event will be even busier as we are combined alongside MB and the Royal Yachting Association.
And please don’t forget our third event the following weekend at the South West Paddlefest 2018!
