Sunday 6th October Whitewater Trip

Hi All
At last I have temporary escaped my wage slave duties for this week and now can take a look at this weekends river trip

At the moment the rivers are low and we will not see any rain until Saturday night.
Hopefully this will inject enough water for a trip.
I will keep an eye on the levels and may adjust the plan. Up to the last minute.

The plan is this to be a beginners trip on the Lower Dart between Holne Weir and Buckfastleigh.
Any helpers will be much appreciated.
We shall meet at 0800 in the Ridgeway carpark (Co op end). To arrange car sharing.
For those who are already closer to the river. We can meet you at the layby between Strawberry Fields and Furzeleigh Mill at 0900.

For those who are new to Whitewater. Please make sure you are well dressed for cold water and bring warm clothes to change into afterwards.
Also please bring a hot drink and snack that you can carry in your kayak.
It also goes without saying. No helmet no paddling !
