An advertisement for a very local event and a charity that a lot of people are aware and may have used. If people are interested then I would be happy to take this to the committee and it would be good to gauge interest???

My name is Emma Thomas and I am the events assistant here at St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth.

I’m sending this email to invite you to a NEW event for this year!

    St Luke’s Dragon Boat Race
    Mount Batten Water Sports Centre
    Sunday 15th June

You can secure your teams place today for just £99* deposit, with a further amount payable of £300 prior to the event. This works out at approx £20 per person, if you have a full team of 20.
Teams must include a minimum of 10 paddlers and a maximum of up to 20 crew members. There will also be a qualified Helmsperson on each boat provided by Dragon Boat Events Ltd.

Dragon Boat Racing is a battle on the water: It is one of the UK’s fastest growing adrenaline water sporting activities (PLEASE NOTE: Boats are provided from Dragon Boat Events Ltd)

We are currently recruiting teams, and I thought this might be something that you and your canoe club are interested in.
The day will be filled with lots of fun, a BBQ and entertainment.

All of the money raised goes to a wonderful cause, so if you’re interested it would be amazing to get your support.
If you know anyone else who would be interested, please don’t hesitate to pass on the information too!

I look forward to hearing from you and hope this is something you’ll consider. It will be quite a memorable day!

I might be interested in this, if you are looking for someone to fill out a gap in the team. I did this in Canada and it is great fun. Hard work and a need to train, though.
