The focus of this session is to learn to manage (& cope with) waves to be found in a beach location and avoid the mishaps that end in capsize! This will focus on low & high recovery (brace) skills and lead to rolling if appropriate. The forecast for surf is smallish – might be just right to have a go!

The session is limited to 6 participants and please let me know if you plan to come along. Don’t expect to turn up unannounced.

Meet in small car park area near cafe at 10am changed and ready to paddle. Note that mobile reception is non-existent on some networks here, so bring CASH for the car parking – £4.30 for 3 hours should be enough unless you are wanting longer.

Super. Good to have you along.
For the beach skills, support strokes etc, you can use whatever boat you prefer. If you wanted to try a bit of kayak surfing, then I suggest a small kayak – easiest to control 🙂
