Short Rec Paddle Saturday 2nd Nov (update)
The weather forecast for Saturday has firmed up. It is staying a bit breezy from the east so expect to have some short periods of paddling into wind 👍We will aim to be on the water for 10:30 and head around into Jennycliff Bay to have a sheltered paddle along the coast probably as far as Cable beach.
There will be a chance to have a snack break, so bring a hot drink and whatever food you wish.
Club boats can be booked via the Equipment Officer if you want to paddle a particular kayak.
Open to all club members although you will need to be comfortable paddling into wind for short periods. The sea conditions, swell and surf are both negligible for the day.
If you have any safety equipment please bring it along with you. We are starting to get cooler temperatures now so please wear appropriate clothing for the paddle.
