Sea paddle Sat 1st Oct

I am in charge of the Sea paddle this coming Saturday 1st October.

Looks like we are up for showers and westerly winds of about 15 mph.

There are a few new club members possibly joining us for a sea paddle on Saturday. We will be setting off from Mountbatten. On the water for 10 am as usual.

Please bring along any safety equipment you have, along with your lunch and a hot drink. Its starting to get a little cooler now, temperature no warmer than 14 degrees, so a wooley hat to put on at lunch time or another jumper may be needed.

Remember if you want to use a club sea kayak, please get in contact with the equipment officer Pete Anderson.

Shall be paddling my old Laser Rainbow. Unless there is a nice club boat that I could fit into. Though perhaps I like the rocks too much which means lots of scratches …..

Seems like there will be quite a merry band of us paddling on Saturday. Club sea kayaks have also been booked for Birgit and a new club member Jennifer. James has text to say that he should also be joining us.
