Ian BrimacombeKeymasterHi everyone
This week it’s a sea paddle you will require a sea kayak for this we will paddle somewhere not sure yet still looking at the weather forecast. It’s looking to be windy and cold so it might be a long local paddle will post on Thursday/Friday as to the plan.

Ian BrimacombeKeymasterWell the weather looks OK for the sea paddle force 3 north winds so we will be paddling from mount batten on Saturday at 1000 on the water.
This is a sea paddle and will be about 14miles so be prepared to paddle this distance it’s going to be cold and choppy great for sea paddling.
Bring hot drinks and food for the dinner break and when we get back you can have a hot shower to end the day.
See you sat

ParticipantMy sea kayak hasn’t been out much recently but certainly made up for lost time today. 15 miles (that’s what my trusty old piece of string on the map made it), of varied conditions, sometimes wind assisted and other times very definitely not, but all in gloriously sunny Devon waters.
Thanks to Brim for leading the trip and taking on the onerous job of decision making.
To my fellow paddlers who were better than me, thanks for the inspiration. To my fellow paddlers who were much better than me, I fawn at your feet, oh you kayaking gods, and to my fellow paddlers who were slightly less able than me, thanks for making an old man feel good.
If you weren’t there you missed a good one.
Thanks again Brim.
