Hi all you salty sea kayakers.

Remember in those very pleasant pre Covid days I ran a few wet skills sessions aimed at all us sea kayakers? Well, those days are back, this time ably aided and abetted by Adam Coulson. The dates that you are now most eagerly anticipating are Tuesday 17 & 31 August.

If you don’t remember those very pleasant pre Covid wet skills sessions you are still very welcome to join us. Ready to be on the water at Mount Batten at 18:00.

We will be covering basic rescue techniques plus a bit more if things go well. Things are likely to be a bit intense. To give you an indication of how intense you can expect to be swimming by 18:10. Be prepared to go home happy, soggy and tired.

    Sea kayaks only please.

Just a heads up that the first of these brilliantly exciting sessions is this Tuesday, 17 August.

    I can hardly contain myself.

Further thought (they come slowly these days) is to add that extensive previous experience or expertise is not required – this is a chance to either brush up on existing skills or try new things. Adam
