Sea kayak trip, Saturday 6 August.

Hi all,

I’m running the sea kayak paddle this Saturday, 6 August. The weather forecast indicates that summer is set to return but we’ve heard all that before haven’t we? Anyway, on the water at Mount Batten at 10:00 with a view of paddling around Rame Head and back.

See you all on Saturday, sun cream at the ready but don’t forget the brolly!

Ah, good stuff. Neither of us working this weekend so planning on being there. Would you recommend a golf umbrella under the deck lines or folding brolly in hatch? Adam

Thanks to all 14 of you that joined me on the water today for a little tour into Cornwall. (So that’s 15 paddlers in total).

My magical piece of string says that we paddled 14 miles, not including the rock hopping or swimming.

I’m not sure where Adam ended up putting his brolly but it obviously attracted the Mount Batten Squid.

I’ll add my thanks, too — a very enjoyable trip, great company, and new beach and stretch of rocks for me too. Patching up a few minor dings and blemishes before next Saturday. On the boat, that is.
