Sea kayak paddle Saturday 3rd June
I have the pleasure of leading the club sea trip this coming Saturday. It will be from Mount Batten usual time ready to paddle of 10:00.
Club sea kayaks can be booked via Pete Anderson the Equipment Officer.
The weather is set firm with an easterly breeze and sunshine. The sea state is relatively calm but with some swell outside the breakwater.
Please bring along any safety equipment you may have, towline, VHF radio, first aid etc. Don’t forget lunch and plenty of water and sunscreen.
All club members welcome. You will need to be comfortable paddling between 10 to 14 miles in different sea conditions.
Please post if you are thinking about coming along so I have an idea of numbers.
It is going to be very busy around MB with a national dinghy event on. The public car parks will most likely fill up quickly so arrive in plenty of time to get a place. 👍
There will also be a short club paddle (Adam leading) running a bit later at 10:30.
