    Hi all,

I’m down to run the sea kayak trip on Saturday 5 June.

There doesn’t appear to anything nasty in the forecast so I would expect this trip to go ahead as advertised. Ready to be on the water at 10:00 at Mount Batten, bring lunch, usual safety equipment and your usual cheerful selves. (I am expecting to fulfill my usual roll of Mr Grumpy so that you don’t have to.)

The last time I was in my sea kayak we went to Rame Head so it will come as no surprise to learn that the Mew Stone and Garra Point are quite likely to feature in Saturday’s paddle. Expect something between 12 – 14 miles, expect some open crossings, expect some rock-hopping (wearing helmets of course) and expect to get back tired but happy at around 16:00.

Club boats are available for this trip. To book a club boat please contact equipment officer Pete Anderson via equipment@ppca-canoe-club.org.uk or 07958 694434.

I will post again on Friday just to confirm details.

    Hi all,

This trip will go ahead tomorrow as planned except that Joy will be in charge rather than me, so you may have to provide your own grumpiness after all.

Hope you have a good paddle,

    Clive A
