Sea kayak tidal session, Sat 28 July.

Hi all

I’m running a sea kayak session playing in moving water between Drakes Island and Mount Edgcumbe. This session is aimed at those of you that have sea kayak experience and want to test your and improve your rescue skills in slightly more challenging conditions.

Due to the tide we will need to be on the water at 09:00. We can’t afford to be late or we will miss all the excitement.

The tidal flow will ease off after 11:00 so we will see if we can join the Saturday paddlers for lunch.

Hello Clive, I would be keen to do this session. I have however been asked to cover an afternoon shift for a friend. Would it be acceptable to depart before lunch? Technically I have been asked to get to work for 2pm. I am trying to negotiate a later start time but if I can’t would I be able to depart when you guys go for lunch?
