ParticipantSea kayak skill evenings, Tues 30 July and Tues 6 August.
I need to practice my sea kayak rescue skills. If you want to join me and practice yours as well that would be good. I am planning 2 wet Tuesday evening sea kayak sessions on 30 July and 6 August. On the water at Mount Batten at 18:00.
Club boats are available for this trip. To book a club boat please contact equipment officer Pete Anderson via equipment@ppca-canoe-club.org.uk or 07958 694434.

brucebParticipantIs this for *** paddlers or above, or would lesser mortals (such as me) benefit?

ParticipantThe forecast is for strong westerly winds tomorrow evening but this session will go ahead as planned. If the forecast is correct we will hide away from the wind at the Barbican and still make use of our water-wings. (Bruce, can you bring enough for all of us please?)

brucebParticipantSadly, I will have to miss next week’s practice as I am away (Really – not just chickening out). So you will be deprived of the sight of me thrashing about in the water. Thanks for last Tuesday, Clive and others. I actually enjoyed it, in a wet sort of a way, and found it very useful. Have fun next Tuesday.
