Sea kayak paddle Saturday 5th March

The club Sea kayak paddle will be launching from Mount Batten, on the water at 10:00.
The weather is firming up nicely with the sea state dropping off but still a bit of a breeze. Hopefully the rain will stay away. A nice big spring tide as well.
Club sea kayaks are available, if you require one book via The Equipment Officer Pete Anderson.
Bring along any safety equipment you may have, tow line, VHF radio, First Aid kit, spare clothes etc. Don’t forget lunch and a hot drink. It is likely to be a bit chilly so please dress accordingly for the conditions.
If you are thinking of coming along please post on this forum or Facebook.

Hi Terry, I would like to join the paddle on Saturday. This will be my first PPCA outing since joining. I have emailed Pete to book a sea kayak.

Hi Alison. Can you let me know (my email is below) what your recent paddling history is and ability as you have said this is your first trip since joining the PPCA. The paddle on Saturday is the first of the month dedicated sea kayak trip so you will need to be able to paddle up to 10 miles and be confident in a mix of sea conditions including wind and swell.

    Thanks,

    Terry
