Sea kayak paddle Saturday 4th Feb

With the changeable weather and storms due to sweep across the region over the next few days. I will make a decision about the club sea kayak paddle on Friday evening.

If there is a suitable weather window on Saturday in which to paddle we will go from Mount Batten. Watch this space, please post if you are thinking of coming along. Club sea boats can be booked via the Equipment Officer.

I would like to come please Terry. Sharon has very kindly said I can borrow here Scorpio to try out in rougher conditions. If it goes ahead I think this trip may just cut the mustard! Lol 😀

The sea paddle is definately on. Winds are decreasing and the sun will be shining.

I will decide where we paddle once I have seen the local sea conditions in the morning. There will still be a sizable swell and some surf around outside of the Sound.

Fantastic sea paddle with a bit of everything sun swell and foam. Never seen the Breakwater so lively with the swell breaking the whole length and a thick foam in places.

Thanks to all the club paddlers that came along to make it such a great day.

Hope the bent kayak is repairable Adam and the barnacle rash clears up soon.
