Sea kayak paddle Saturday 3rd Sept

    CANCELLED

The sea kayak paddle will be going from Mount Batten, ready to paddle for 10:00.

The weather is still making its mind up, but indications are it should be fine for a paddle in our locality. A little breezier and probably a bit more swell than in recent weeks but great for sea paddling.

If you want to use a club sea kayak please book via the equipment officer.

If you are intending coming along please post so I get an idea of numbers.

We will be joining you on Saturday. Haven’t been out for while, so both looking forward to paddle and catching up on news. See you soon Karen and Adam ๐Ÿ™‚

After some thought after following the various weather forecasts. The picture for most of Saturday is of a deteriorating situation with increasing strong wind and sea state. The parameters are now going outside those limits I would consider for a club paddle so unfortunately I have taken the early decision to CANCEL the club sea kayak paddle. Sorry paddlers.

However I still intend meeting around 10:00 to view the local situation and hopefully get out for a shorter PEER paddle somewhere. If you still want to come along then I will see you at MB. Due to it likely being of a shorter duration general purpose boats are welcome.
