TerryCParticipantSea Kayak trip Saturday 3rd Dec
This dedicated sea kayak trip will be from Mount Batten. On the water ready to paddle for 10:00.
The weather is still firming up for the weekend but the wind is likely to remain from an easterly direction, swell and sea state good for sea paddling. Probably paddling direction will be out towards Wembury. Wrap up warm and bring all your own usual safety equipment and spare clothing etc.
Club sea kayaks can be booked out from the Equipment Officer if required.
Please post if you are thinking of coming along so I can get an idea on numbers.

brucebParticipantI am hoping to be there. A bit jet lagged at the moment, so I may doze off during the trip. Bruce

smegParticipantI was hoping to be there. But I’ve gone and fallen off me bike and broke me collar bone. So see you in the spring.

TerryCParticipantMike sorry to hear about your cycling accident. Maybe you should stick to kayaking it’s far safer. Hope it’s a quick fix and speedy recovery.

missingParticipantSorry to hear your Misfortune SMEG. I shall miss you out on the water this Winter.
Shall be paddling elsewhere tomorrow down near Falmouth on an Incident Management Course. The weather seems to be fine tuning it self for an incident. Oh bugger, I really dont want another real one!
At least I shall be paddling in a plastic boat, the trick shall be to come back unscathed!

Adam CoulsonKeymasterBad luck Mike. Ground hard at the moment. Make the most of Sunday mornings in bed! Hope it’s not too painful. Whisky my own preferred analgesic. Adam

brucebParticipantThanks for an enjoyable paddle Terry. The slingshot round the Mew Stone was an interesting experience. Bruce

TerryCParticipantGlad you enjoyed the Mew Stone slingshot. Its always a bit lively out there with a bit of swell running.
Great sea paddle from Mount Batten out to the Renney rocks then the Mew Stone circuit and back via the Shag Stone and the calm of the Sound. Good conditions after all with the rain staying away.
