Sea Kayak Paddle Saturday 2nd July
The weather has just about firmed up for Saturday. It’s looking a bit breezy 15mph gusting 25mph, with some associated sea swell. We will probably do a circuit of the Sound and use the wind and tide to our advantage (for most of the time). Usual time on the water at Mount Batten ready to paddle at 10:00.
Showers are forecast so dress for some precipitation, even though it is July with wind chill you will cool down quickly. Please bring along any safety kit you have, first aid, tow line, spare clothing, vhf radio etc. Don’t forget a drink and lunch.
If you are thinking about coming along please let me know so I can get a rough idea of numbers.
Club sea kayaks can be booked via Pete Anderson the Equipment Officer.
