Hi Terry,
it’s a tough call when you are spoilt for choices. Sea trip Sat or Open on the Tamar on Sun, but I’ve finally made up my mind to join you guys thanks.
See you tmorrow,
cheers
Kitts
Thanks for a great day out paddlers. I’m not sure of the mileage probably around 9 miles with a good half of that in quite challenging conditions the other half out of the wind in glorious November sunshine.
It never fails to surprise me what we have on our doorstep. A paddle up into St Johns lake at the top of the tide is a delight. An Iron Age castle and flooded water meadow, with wildlife in abundance. Shame we didn’t have time to make the ford. But a nice lunch stop at Sango point and picking the last of the seasons sloes.
A good call Bob, things did not improve that much. See you next week.
