    Hi all,

I am running the sea kayak trip this Saturday, 5 September.

As the kids have gone back to school it is very fitting that the weather seems to be settling down a bit, so with this in mind we will launch from Hannafore Point, West Looe, grid ref SX255523. The aim is to paddle to Pencarrow Head and back, a total distance of 15 miles. (That’s approx 24 Kilometres or 13 nautical miles. What an excellent service I provide).

Those wishing to use club sea kayaks please book them with the Club Equipment Officer, Alan Ede, by a text to 07799 556876 or an e-mail to alancede@hotmail.co.uk Don’t forget to wish him a speedy recovery from his detached retina.

Can I ask that you let me know if you are coming please, especially if you are intending to use club boats. This may save me a trip to Mount Batten. I can be contacted on 01752 344425 or cliveandjoy01@gmail.com

We will leave Mount Batten at 09:00 and be on the water at 10:30.

See you salty people on Saturday.

Hope to be there. I will pick up my sea boat from MB at about 9 am and can carry an extra kayak if anyone is interested.

My mother and sister are staying but they’re doing women’s things with Karen on Saturday so I’m allowed out to play. I have cleared the use of a club boat with Alan and so will be at MB early if not bright on Saturday morning and like Bruce can take 1 extra boat and drive or be driven.

    Roll on (and up),

    Adam

I won’t be able to join, sadly. A trapped nerve in my neck is being a nuisance. Have a great Cornish trip!

We are bringing the double kayak (hernia back again?) so won’t be going to MB this morning. See you all at Looe.
