    Hi All,

I am running a sea kayak away day this Sunday, 28 April.

At the moment I am planning to go from Brixham but I will check the forecast again tomorrow (Friday) and make a proper plan then.

Club boats are available for this trip. To book a club boat please contact equipment officer Pete Anderson via equipment@ppca-canoe-club.org.uk or 07958 694434.

Well, it’s going to be cool and it may be a bit damp, spring can be so pleasant but apparently not this year.

We’ll launch from the Breakwater Car Park in Brixham at 10:00. I know this is a bit early but I need to get back in time to go out in the evening.

For those that need such things that postcode of the adjacent Torbay Lifeboat Station is TQ5 9AF.

You may wish to take out a mortgage because the car park will set you back £10.70, payable by cash, card or ringo. (Thought he was a drummer with some beat combo) It’s probably best not to be tempted into paying for just 4 hours.

If you are coming it would be nice to know.

If you intend using a club boat please arrange to pick it up on Saturday.

    Yippee, a PPCA away day!

It may be worth noting that the Plymouth Half Marathon is taking place this Sunday. There may be local road closures that will affect your journey.

I will be traveling from Elburton. Anybody want a lift/share?
