ParticipantHi all,
Just an early heads up that the final sea kayak away day of the season takes place this Sunday, 24 September. Its too early to decide where to go yet but I’m expecting it to be fun. I will post again at the end of the week once I’ve made a plan.
Club boats are available for this trip. To book a club boat please contact equipment officer Pete Anderson via equipment@ppca-canoe-club.org.uk or 07958 694434. You will need to have your own transport and be able to pick it up on Saturday.

ParticipantRight then, decision made. We will paddle from Porthpean Beach, on the water at 10:30.
For those that need such things the postcode of Porthpean Beach car park is PL26 6AX.
It would appear that parking is £3.50 for the whole day but check on the day.
There are horror stories on trip advisor etc about people being fined for being just a few minutes over their time. Don’t be one of them.
It would be nice to know if you are coming.
I will post again on Saturday just to confirm but I’m not really expecting anything to change.

ParticipantWell then, its Saturday morning and here I am posting as promised.
As expected, nothing has changed so we will go ahead launching at Porthpean at 10:30 as planned.
Thanks to Julian for pointing out that Sunday is the 25th. I knew there was a reason that I didn’t keep a diary. My apologies to anyone that travelled to Porthpean on Saturday to find themselves a little lonely.
See you tomorrow,
Clive A.
