    Hi all,

Just an early heads up that there will be a sea kayak away day this Sunday, 24 July. Don’t know where or when at the moment so watch this space, but where ever we paddle it will be beautiful with splendid company. Please join us.

Club boats are available for this trip. To book a club boat please contact equipment officer Pete Anderson via equipment@ppca-canoe-club.org.uk or 07958 694434.

    Hi all,

The forecast is force 4 – 5 SSW on Sunday, which doesn’t give us many options. High tide in Plymouth is 15:29 so not convenient for an estuary paddle. With all this in mind I will cancel Sunday’s sea kayak away day.

If anyone is available on tomorrow (Friday) Adam, Karen and myself are intending to paddle as a peer group from Portwrinkle. Adam is going to post details on Facebook.

Sorry that the way day trip planned for Sunday has been cancelled. A combination of weather, wind, surf and tide times has made finding the perfect location too difficult. However, Karen, Clive and me will be paddling our sea kayaks from Portwrinkle tomorrow in rather more clement conditions, if anybody would like to join us. The plan is to be on the water at 10:15 and paddle west – it would be nice to get to Looe Island and lunch on a beach somewhere (apart from Looe Island). Tide flow is favourable and not much wind, so officially a summer paddle! Let me know by some means if you would like to join us. Adam
