    Hi all

Just to remind you that there is another sea kayak away day this Sunday, 21 August. Looking at the forecast it would appear that summer has come to an end and that Sunday may well be a little damp, a little cool and a big bit breezy. I will make a plan and post again on Friday evening but if the forecast doesn’t improve, we will probably paddle on the Tamar estuary. (High water 13:10 at Devonport.)

Club boats are available for this trip. To book a club boat please contact equipment officer Pete Anderson via equipment@ppca-canoe-club.org.uk or 07958 694434. If you are going to use a club boat it would be helpful if you could pick it up on Saturday.

    Hi all,

The forecast has improved a bit but not enough to go anywhere very exciting, so we will paddle the Tamar Estuary and splash our faces with muddy water. Very good for the complexion I am led to understand.

We will launch on the Devon side of the Tamar at Saltash Passage using the slipway opposite the Ferry House Inn. For those that need such things the postcode of the Ferry House Inn is PL5 1LA. We will be on the water at 10:30.

Should you be of a Cornish persuasion you could launch from the slipway at Saltash Green and join us as we paddle past. If you are going to do that, please let me know so that I can look out for you.

    See you on Sunday.
