Saturday Rec Paddle 9th Feb
With a Met Office Yellow Warning for strong winds in force for the next few days including Saturday it will come as no surprise that the Rec Paddle may be cancelled. I will make a final decision on Friday evening just in case a weather window opens up.
Winds are forecast to be over 20mph with gusts nearing 40mph with an out going tide and SW swell conditions in the Sound are likely to be lively.Terry
Saturday rec Paddle is CANCELLED
Sorry rec paddlers I have been following the weather all week and there is no real improvement for tomorrow. although the wind is dropping off a little the wind and sea conditions are still outside running a safe club rec trip.
Getting a bit fed up with cancelling too many trips this year already. Fingers crossed for better conditions next weekend.
If you venture out on a peer paddle stay safe paddlers.
