I have been holding off posting and weather watching all week and things are not looking great for the club Rec paddle on Saturday. Rain forecast all day with strong Easterly winds 20 gusting 40 mph. Things will probably change a little by Saturday but the club paddle is looking unlikely it will go ahead.
I wont make a final decision about cancelling until Friday evening and see how things firm up.Terry
Well its Friday evening and the weather has changed a little. The heavy rain is coming later in the day. But the wind is still outside of club operating remit 20 mph gusting 30+. So with some reluctance I am cancelling the club rec paddle. Shame as a period of more settled weather is about to come along a day late for us.
