The Rec paddle will be from Mount Batten usual time on the water of 10:00. The weather is looking a little breezy but hopefully will ease a bit by the weekend.
Please post if you are thinking of coming along. Bring all your usual paddling kit and safety equipment plus food and drink.
A cracking PPCA paddle with a bit of everything. 17 club paddlers joined in the fun with 3 of the paddlers being new club members and having their first rec paddle in some quite challenging conditions.
Thanks to everyone for making it a great day and all the experienced paddlers for looking out for the new paddlers, it makes my job a whole lot easier out on the water.
Thanks for a great paddle and cheers to everyone for all the good advice and looking out for us newbies.
I forgot to talk to you about the kayaking book you mentioned, have you got any more info on that?
Many thanks to all for the very warm welcome at my first recreation paddle on Saturday and for giving me encouragement and guidance on the water. I had a fantastic time. All the best, Jono
