It seems to me that we owe it to Brim to try and devise a peer paddle that he would approve of.

To that end EMU and I will be leaving Devonport en route for Cawsand to launch there as near to 1000 as the vagaries of the ferries will allow.

Forecast wind is NW 11mph gusting to 19mph, and despite the wind direction Magic Seaweed (as of the time of this posting) is predicting 4 to 6 feet swell at Bantham. HT is just before noon.

Mark and I intend to rock hop our way from Cawsand to Rame (swell permitting along the Penlee/Rame section).

We invite anyone who feels sufficiently confident in small or sea boats to follow this programme to join us on peer paddle terms.

Please let us know if you’re coming – we will launch as soon as everyone we know is coming has arrived!

I would like to do this paddle though my sea boat is at Mountbatten.

Would anyone be interested in a Peer Sea Paddle from Mountbatten to meet up with Dave and Emu at Cawsand.

If so I expect it might be prudent to aim to launch from Mountbatten at 0900 to allow adequate time to get to Cawsand

    Regards,
    Jane
