    Joy is down to run the rec paddle this Saturday, (10 December), but she has a better offer so I am running it for her. What a wonderful chap I am. (No-one else will say it).

    The weather forecast is a bit damp and a bit breezy but we are rufty tufty PPCA paddlers so we will cope.

    On the water at Mount Batten at 10:00. See you then.

    Good paddle – thanks Clive. Certainly felt like I had done some exercise today! Waterfalls over the breakwater and a dancing flock of turnstones got my vote. We’ll forget about the surfing over to Mount Edgecombe!
