Saturday 25th Nov Rec Paddle
The weather has settled down for the week and the forecast for this coming Saturday is looking favourable for getting out into the Sound for a nice rec paddle.
Much lighter winds and not much surf or swell around. It is turning a lot cooler now so wrap up well with plenty of layers for the conditions and a wooly hat and gloves if you need them.
The rec paddle is open to all club members in short kayaks or sea kayaks. We will be out for the day, on the water ready to paddle for 10:00 and back around 14:30. It will be a leisurely paddle of around 6 to 8 miles.
Dont forget lunch and a hot drink. Please bring along all of your safety kit, first aid, vhf radio, tow lines etc.
If you are thinking of coming along please post on this thread or the club forum page, so I can get an idea on numbers.
