Saturday 1st July Sea Kayak Paddle
July starts on Saturday and I am pleased to be leading a sunny summer sea kayak paddle. It looks sunny and warm at present but there will be a moderate breeze and spring tides so should be fun. We will probably “go west” but I will confirm on Friday night.
You will need a sea kayak (please book club boats via Pete the equipment officer) and be able to paddle about 27 km (15 nautical miles). They’re nautical because we’re on the sea, and slightly longer than land miles (1.1x).
Bring lunch and all of your kit that might be required including helmet. Sun protection would be a good idea and plenty of hydration. We will be launching from Mountbatten at 10:00 and I look forward to seeing you there.

The conditions appear to be within remit so we will proceed as above – see you at MB in the morning.
